Warm-Up for Sunday: This Sunday we’re going to talk about a subject no one wants to talk about except maybe doctors – PAIN!  Anyone feeling any kind of pain? Typically, we want to disassociate ourselves from pain; even talking about it is painful.  But pain is apart of God’s plan for our lives. Pain not only has a purpose but also a blessing associated with it.  As you know, pain began when Adam & Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. The consequential pain of their sin wasn’t meant to be punitive as much as it was corrective.  But pain is often hard to understand and appreciate when you’re going through it. Bear in mind, even Jesus experienced extreme pain. It’s apart of our daily lives we have to deal with.  So, come and hear what God’s Word tells us about pain management from His point of view (2 Corinthians 7:8-11, Hebrews 12:6-11, James 1:2-4, Proverbs 27:6).
